I was born and raised in Burlington Iowa. After my divorce in 1998 I had nothing to do with my extra time. My brother, (Darren) had been doing stained glass for some time and suggested I give it a try. So we got together and he taught me all the fundamentals of stained glass on one abstract piece. This then lead on to making a stained glass lampshade and from that point on I was addicted to glass. I love the ability to create and change the looks of even a simple window. I have had the pleasure to build some beautiful windows for friends and clients and make their homes more beautiful and colorful. In 2003 I moved to Chandler Arizona to pursue a new career and rebuild my stained glass clientele.

Art and nature with all its beauty have always been special to me. Sometimes we take for granted the beautiful surroundings we have around us and miss out on the color combinations involved with them. I feel that no matter what part of the country you live in there is a special place meant just for you to spend time alone and absorb everything nature has to offer.

After about 8 years of doing stained glass I needed a change and challenge in working with glass. I learned about fusing glass and changing the shape of glass with intense heat. I took a fusing class at Artistry Glass Studio here in Chandler Arizona. Since then I cannot get enough projects to feed my hunger for melting glass!

To change a dull and boring room in a home can be simply done by adding a stained glass window or glass sculpture on a wall. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed.
